SHORT FILM SUBMISSION

The Central Texas Performing Arts Festival submissions are now open for independent film makers to submit a short original film. For the June 2024 Performing Arts Festival in Waco, Tx. All scripts must be submitted no later than April 1, 2024. We advise that you copyright or register your work before submission. CTPAF will not be held responsible for any misappropriation of submitted works.

Eligibility:
• Scripts must be original works.
• Scripts must be in standard screenplay format.
    o All genre family friendly accepted. (Please refrain from explicit language).
• The screenwriters must be an African American or of African American descent.
• The film must be 20 mins – 30mins. Anything more will be disqualified.
• You can only submit one script per writer.
• $50 Entry Fee.

Early Bird Special: $30 February 5th – 29th, $40 March 1st – 15th

All works will be given careful consideration before selections are made. Our Submission Committee will select from all eligible submission to perform for grand prize at the CTPAF. If you receive an email from our submissions committee stating that you were selected, please plan to be in attendance on June 20th – 22nd, 2024.
